As always, OCT will continue responding to special requests from units and individuals!
There are three (3) ways to help OCT with our Packings:
- Make a donation of recently requested items – What Items can I donate?
- OCT needs your help with cards and letters
- HELP defray the shipping costs of packages – the ONLY way OCT can operate the 2026 Packings is with funds for shipping cost. DONATE FUNDS FOR POSTAGE!! Ship a box for $28.
Always requested are the following:
Due to international shipping requirements OCT can only accept product as listed including weights and sizes.
- Beef Jerky – up to 2 oz per package
- Protein Snacks – nut mixes or trail mixes – 2 oz individual snack packages
- Protein Bars – 8 to 20 grams protein, Kind, Cliff, Quest, Pure Protein, Nature Valley Protein
- Individual Lip Balms – no petroleum please
OCT Care Package Event Details
Spring into Summer – Spring
Sun protection, personal care items & protein snacks are the focus of the care packages for the troops
Bag of Bare Necessities – August
Drink mixes, canned fruit, beef jerky, trail mix and other food items are shipped in care packages
Holiday Stocking Packing – November
Holiday stockings for deployed troops and NH at-risk veterans supported at Liberty House, Buckingham Place, Delanis, BAE Systems Independence Hall and Boulder Point.
What Can I do to help?
- Volunteer for a Packing Event
- Writing letters of encouragement – Operation Care for Troops places 4 to 6 letters in each package. This means 4000 to 15,000 pieces of mail is needed for each packing event.
- Helping with monetary cost of shipping the care packages
